María Mercedes Pagán, originally from Collores, Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, boasts a dynamic career spanning over 17 years in the insurance industry. Beyond her professional achievements, María Mercedes is deeply passionate about philanthropy, exemplified by her establishment of the ‘Beca Estudiantil María Mercedes Pagán’ Scholarship Program in 2013, aimed at supporting the educational aspirations of Juana Díaz’s youth. Her unwavering commitment to community service and advocacy reflects her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Child Education

Beca Estudiantil MMP is specifically designed to provide essential support and assistance to underprivileged children in Juana Diaz, offering them a valuable opportunity to excel academically and personally, enabling them to reach their full potential and break the cycle of poverty.

About Maria

Maria de los Angeles is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with a Master’s in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. She specializes in early intervention for children and families with developmental and mood disorders. Maria is trained in CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy, and is passionate about helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Javier Pagán jr. holds a Bachelor's in Human Communications and brings over five years of experience in financial services. About Camila

Camila Pagán is a three-time national cheerleading champion and Political Science graduate from the University of West Georgia. She currently serves as an Assistant Coach while working as a legal assistant and preparing to pursue a Master's in Criminal Justice Administration at Georgia State University. Camila brings a unique blend of athletic excellence, academic drive, and a passion for justice to every role she takes on.

Kirk Lefevre, originally from Miami, is a Computer Science major with a Math minor at UCF. He graduated in the top 10% of his class and has completed over 200 hours of community service. His experience includes internships at Limbitless Solutions and Johnson & Johnson, where he’s contributed to both innovation and impact-driven projects.
